  • We want our vehicles to be as clean as possible for every user! Help out your fellow MCS drivers:

    Shake out the floor mats to remove debris such as pet hair, sand or dirt. Please vacuum the interior if necessary. If it is returned in a condition that requires extensive cleaning, a fee may be applied.

    Don’t leave anything behind! Double-check that the car is cleared of trash or personal items.

    If you drove a Truck, clear the truck bed of any debris.

    If you go to the beach, place a towel on the seats to protect them from sand and water. Saltwater leaves behind hard-to-remove stains that can incur a cleaning fee.

  • We run a full-to-full gas policy. We will provide your rental with a full tank of gas and we expect the car to be returned full as well. 

    The Foodland Gas station in Laʻie closes at 9 PM every night, the 7/11 in Ka’a’awa is open 24/7. Please plan accordingly.

  • Our fleet is parked around the area of Laie for easy access. The exact location information will be sent & confirmed prior to the pickup date of your reservation through email. You return car at same location of pickup, or nearest parking spot available.

  • Yes. Hawaii’s universal seat belt law requires that all front and back seat motor vehicle occupants buckle up. Adults and children must use their seat belts and child restraints at all times.

  • All payments are done through a secured online checkout on our website. We accept credit cards and debit. No prepaid cards accepted. Card used must match Renters name.

  • Pets are allowed in vehicles, however, upon return, the car should be in the same clean condition that it was picked up in. Cleaning fees will be charged if damage is done to the car.

  • All rentals are paid in full when booking your reservation. Therefore, no deposit is required.

  • With MCS, no. You can drive all around the island with no additional mileage charge.

  • Unfortunately, we do not provide car seats at this time.

  • No, smoking is not permitted in our vehicles. Smoking/Dinking Alcohol in a vehicle may incure a $250 fee, along with account suspension or termination.

  • Yes, you can bring food into the car, but please make sure you clean up after yourself. Extra cleaning fees do apply if a car is returned dirty.

  • Call the customer support line at first.

    They will let you know if they can assist primary or If not we will have a 24/7 provider available to contact at 1-(855)-866-3161. You will need vehicle information in the glove department.

  • Yes you can, read our rental agreement for fees on reservation changes. Note there are no prorated refunds for starting a reservation late or returning early.

    Refunds take 2-3 business days to process.

  • You will receive an email to confirm your reservation. Follow the instructions of verifying your identity, you will need to send in a picture of self holding your valid driver license. You will then receive an email with pick up location and unlock code. This usually takes no longer then 15min.

  • No. You cannot let anyone use your personal account (and vice versa). No one can use your account except yourself, doing so will mean the person is not covered by our insurance* in the event of an accident. This will also result in termination of services.

  • Enter your valid promo code in the application at the booking screen. You’ll see an option to redeem a promo code when you’re confirming your reservation. Please do not share promo codes with other individuals, if using a promo code that is not yours you will be billed for difference. 

  • You can leave your car parked in the MCS pickup station for no fee, or any permitted parking available at the places you go.

  • Please report any damage or cleanliness issues at the beginning of your reservation to Email. This is an important step because you could be held responsible for any unreported damage or cleanliness issues if left until after your trip. We welcome any additional feedback.

  • Our services are available everyday Monday-Sunday. We have our first rentals from 8am-midnight. If you need to return a car at a later time or pick up a car earlier we can accommodate your plans. Contact our customer service to make those accommodations. 

  • If you lost or found an item, please Contact us. Please make a visual sweep of the car before ending your reservation. MCS is not responsible for lost items.

  • MCS doesn’t charge extra for insurance, again we provide additional insurance to your personal auto/driver license insurance.

  • All our vehicles are registered and insured. We only provide automatic vehicles in our fleet. .

  • Whether you need a car for a day or for a week, it’s always cheaper to use MCS over traditional car rentals because the most expensive part of renting a car are rental-related fees. Our pricing includes those fees and taxes at a flat rate.

  • Yes, you can. Our fleet are all up to date with safety, registration and insurance. Please communicate with a Customer Representative in your reservation about what you will need for you rental prior to your Road Test Appiontment. FAQ

  • Payment is due prior in order to reserve and contract is binding at time of reservation. Cancellations are permitted and can be fully refunded with a charge fee reduction of 5%, if done prior to 48 hours before reservation begins. cancellation fees will be assessed:

    Less than 48 hrs Notice: 50 percent cancellation fee.

    No notice: Full payment cancellation fee.

    Once rental begins, no refunds will be made, except for repeated mechanical failure.

    allowed operation of vehicle by person other than approved on reservation driver on account. We do not charge to add an additional driver but if accident were to happen this driver and yourself would not be protected.
